i sooo agree. i played this year and last year. I had more fun last year. This year i actually felt like I was gonna have to use the blade I carried in my bra,lol. it was absolutely unorganized.

all the bands & trucks with NO MASQUERADERS should go last, last, last, way the the back...let all the dancing and madness present first!! i watched the entire dvd and there was a problem... not much choreagraphy.. EVERYBODY WAS DOING THE SAME DAMN THING..wining, wining, and more wining. u watch it n let me know.. see below

ok this is my observations of attending / being in the parade since 04 (i only was in teh parade dis yr b/c i now have my daughter part of it ) ..

04 seems relatively calm ..
forgot if anything happened in o5 .b/c i didnt attend .. my daughter was only 3 months ..
o6 if i remember there was sum issues
o7 didnt sumbady get shot around 6pm? b/c i was just bout ta leave n all sudden you hear gun shot and see everyone on d parkway running like tons of ppl .. .thx GOD i was on d side service road heading to d train station ..

o8 dis yr .. the amount of people that attended was CRAZY ..
i swear it was triple of who attended last yr ..
after the parade i was tryna get out and it was near impossible ..
next yr my daughter gonna still be in it .. but i hope that we are no where near hot 97 band only b/c yes many follow dat truck ..

if its crowd control on d actual parade part of d parkway .. i think they need to have more space between the different bands/trucks .. b/c i noticed this yr they (police) were tryna rush it to end quickly .. they dont even want it going on i think ..

they also block off too much now when bands use to meet up in certain areas in d early am (830am) the police wouldnt let us do that ...

another thing .. ppls attitudes tend to run real high dat day i notice .. i was stuck in d crowd after d parade tryna get to d train (thx GOD mah cuzn live round there n come and he took us on side streets to ah MUCH LESS crowded train station .. i gotta remember how to get to that station for next year lol b/c in o7 i almost fought sum man that keep cutting everyone in line n i told him about himself n he was gonna 4 real hit me and mah friend .. she hubby was there tho n mad bigger than d man n well nothing end up go on lol)

so ppl needa leave attitude ah home sealed up i think ..
