You're silly. Brazil pictures and costumes are breath taking this year. But not sure if I could feel their music 24/7 especially during carnival.

However, Trinidad bandleaders need to get more organized with their presentation and stop with the greed. Don't have over three to ten thousand people in your band. If you can't and not willing to manage them correctly and have them looking a hot disorganize mess on the road Carnival Tuesday. I know for a fact I would have been very pissed if I spend over $600 for my pretty costume. Then get mixed in with a bunch of fugly costumes on Tuesday.

For that I could make my own remix costume for much less and nobody would know the difference. It is very disappointing to see some of the Trinidad bandleaders just don't seem to care anymore because they cash in already. I don't see nothing to brag about when some just flush the culture down the toilet like that. Mac Farlane seem to be one of the few bandleaders who puts his heart and soul into his work from begining to the end. So got to give him major props for making and impact on the road that's worth watching.

I know I post jacked his thread venting how I embarass with Trinidad carnival.lol But in order for me to consider/support someone else culture before my own. I have to compare the pros with the cons. I just happen to live and work with a lot of Brazilians so I'm expose to their culture alot. Also this is a Caribbean website not South American/Brazilian so Dermonger looking for sympathy from the wrong people.

This is just too HILARIOUS, especially when you look at the RATIONAL for it.

So you have SPOKEN to this ONE BRAZILIAN woman and she told you that she has SWORN off her NATION'S CARNIVAL?

If the answer is yes or NO, how does that make TRINIDAD carnival better and more SPECTACULAR than BRAZIL'S?

Again, there is no COMPARISON between the TWO. It is BRAZIL'S by a OVERWHELMING SLAM DUNK.

I WOULD DO like what, I am SURE, some TRINIDADIANS have DONE, go to BRAZIL CARNIVAL.

There is NOTHING wrong with SEEING what other CARNIVALS R like, especially the CALIBER of BRAZIL'S.

I am with you on this one. I feel I should see Brazil's so I can say I saw it but as long as it is at the same time as Trinidad I can't promise any one I will make it. The language barrier, no soca.... I doh have a strong reason it just is so plain and simple.....
And yeah some of the band leaders are very money grubbing....lawd.

Wow! One Brazilian out of millions??? What exactly are you trying to say?

I guess the few Trinis that I have met here who can no longer be bothered with carnival in Trinidad, I should make a judgement about Trini carnival right? You are something else!
