Ok, came across the pic of a boot.
Look real good the boot is in the right hand corner of the pic. I like it cause its flat even I was thinking too flat might cause foot pain. Especially this kind of flat.
I also love the color. Its simple not conflicting too much ( I dont imagine...LOL)
And its mid calf so you wont get as hot....i fraid heat cause I not a girl that perspires. I sweat....

depending on how your foot is you may need arch support

and tramping round in the hot sun whole day with no ventilation could get you a foot fungus

girl, i was so hurt when i saw all the colors they had and THEN saw how high those damn heels were. not me and them. i put them up for the bold and fearless.

I was wondering when this topic would show up again because I am sooo lost with respect to 'shoe-ing' my costume.. I dont think ne thing would go with it other than a boot and still if i do get a boot wouldent that ruin the costume??

I'm Playing in Sonia Mack's Black widow... frontline but those things around the shins, I'd have to leave them home if i'm gonna be bootified =?

using that on a black boot will enhance it and the costume. You can definitely pull of boots with Black Widow Spider. Tennis shoes, ballerina shoes, flip flops (JJ) will not go with the costume.

What section u playing? What you reccomend for GOC? What u think of the pink boot that u have to squint to see?...lol

I had my boots custom made for 2007 and will definitely play in boots again.
-When choosing your boot make sure it is comfortable on your feet
-Use a color that will enhance your costume
-Use leg pieces to 'spruce' up your boot
-Definitely use insoles
-Wear a knee high stocking or ankle high stocking with a thin sock
-BE CREATIVE!!

I personally like the knee length boots with a 1-2 inch heel because it looks sexy
My feet was not hot, I took of my boots and aired it out @ our rest stop.
Step in puddles of water ever so often to keep your feet cool.

Come Ash Wednesday I had a nice taned leg

Well, I didnt have to squint because the bright pink really stood out and was a different shade than the costume-my opinion

For GOC-a matte gold boot with red emblishments and a hint of black.
Coordinate with the headpiece, arm and leg bands.
