True story as told to me:

A husband and wife wanted to play Mas for Trinidad Carnival. The wife couldn't afford it but the husband decided to take the money from their household expenses cash box. So the day of Mas he was able to go out and enjoy himself while the wife stayed at home. When he came home later that night he said to his wife "Well, where's my food?" She replied "Just a minute honey..why don't you sit down and watch T.V. in the meantime?"
10 minutes later she said "The food is ready darling..come and get it." When the man sat down and lifted the towel covering his food there was his Carnival costume neatly folded on a plate with some sliced tomatoes on top. He said "What de a$$ is this?" She replied "Oh.. well since you wanted to take the grocery money, here is your dinner, enjoy!"
