damn i thought it was just me.... once i said it americanised to my JA friend infront of who i did not know was WI(i didnt feel like hearing ohh love the accent ting eh so was nuff yankee tawk going on) and de woman spot meh chain and said meh parents need tuh hand meh two slap fuh discracing dey food so.. man if yuh seh meh dead wid laugh oui. de woman say please say it correctly and tawk proper. (meaning like ah Trini) kicks oui

Ah went tuh buy 2 doubles from dis "Caribbean" spot by me, own by ah Trini. He daughta was workin dat day. So order meh 2 doubles, get meh food and gone. Well when open d ting, it have 2 side ah bara, lyin side by side...with a some channa on top ah each one. Wha d flick kinna doubles is dat? Like d man chile eh know what doubles is. Dais when yuh know yuh done loss yuh connection. Needless tuh say i eh gone back since. |
