I beg to differ; on issues of religion and spirituality there is a lot to discuss and debate. I believe, however, that for many who are "religious and spiritual," the issues to be discussed are too uncomfortable for them to deal with. Let's use the recently publicised (and authenticated) Gospel of Judas or the Codex Vaticanus, the oldest version of the Gospels, which has just been made accessible online; here are at least two profound topics that will raise certain questions and answers that may force people to, at the very least, review beliefs and tenets they thought had long since been settled. These are beliefs and tenets that form part of a comfort zone many have built up around them and, perhaps subconsciously, believe all is lost without that zone, so they simply rather not know or deal with them.



I have to agree, it's one of the reasons I (once again) kinda slacked off of this site and went across to others where more mature issues are discussed and more frequently at that.

Sad to admit though; I always find Caribbean people to be deeper and more intellectually profound once they get into a subject.
