is suffering and torment good, even if there is no corrective purpose? (IE: suffering for the sake of suffering, imposed by a god that has deemed that is eternally too late for a souls salvation)
why or why not is this good?
Is it just? Is it fair?
Is it EVER fair to torture someone forever?
Is it EVER fair to boil someone in a lake of fire or burn them in a fiery furnace for all time just for punishments sake (with no corrective or purifying aim)
some have said that fire is for correction and is literally not real, but connotatively a method of correction and purification. I suppose this is nicer and more merciful.
Is complete lack of mercy for those who god deems curse worthy good? IS it good that these people are eternally cast out with no hope, no matter what they do?
what are the thoughts

Fairy tales such as the one about hell is just that - a fairy tale designed to keep people in check. Scare 'em with hell and bride 'em with heaven while fleecing them all the way.
