for example the 9/11 bombings were supposedly ok as the quran teaches muslims to declare war on all countries which go to war with the lands of Allah. An the US attacked the middle east before 9/11. But a few of the terrorists had been told not to do it by religious leaders.

So if we are following religious scripture then the attacks were justified.
