lol....tell you the truth, when I first read the title and the opening statements, I was strongly against what I was reading. But somehow, I kept an open mind and read on.

By the end, I realized that there were many good points raised in the article. People indeed do not appreciate the deeper and more difficult to understand institutional racism that is built into this society, that affects the lives of ppl much moreso than individual prejudices. I can't go so far as to say that "Crash" purposely perpetuates institutional slavery, but it certainly could be said to be reflective of a country that apparently isn't ready to take on or talk about bigger and much more important issues of racism than who thinks who is a n*gger or a sp*c.
